Standards of operations in the subsidiary companies are specific to the operations conducted and therefore are derived from the subsidiaries.  Eastern Group however delivers corporate governance through six corporate policies.

Driving Policy – Driving is one of the major risks that employees are exposed to on the day to day activities.  EGES has defined the policy regarding driving to ensure the safety of the personnel
Substance Abuse – Maximum alertness and mental stability are required when dealing with extreme cases as in the oilfield.  It is imperative than no employee is in operational mode while intoxicated, nor should an employee not be offered help should they request it.
Employee Security and Health – The geographic region of operation EGES engages in requires delicate security assessment.  3rd party organizations are employed to assess such risks, which then a business decision is made.  Health is also promoted through training and education.
HSE&Q – a grass root requirement in every business, EGES has taken the corporate ownership in ensuring HSE&Q plans are employed by each subsidiary and adhered to to ensure maximum benefit to its employees and clients.
Business Ethics – This deals with corruption, confidentiality and conflict of interest.  These are all issues dealt with on a daily basis and a corporate governance policy has been issued to empower employees to expose any such case.
People Management – This policy delivers a clear message on the importance the workforce is to EGES and that EGES is committed to delivering top class services through a well experienced and technically strong work force.
